SIR HENRY BROWNE HAYES
This miniature portrait of Sir Henry minus his moustache, is believed to have been painted by Adam Buck 1759-1833, probably in 1824 when Sir Henry was 62 years old and twelve years after he returned to Cork from New South Wales.
The minature belonged to the late Sean O’Criandan,a direct descendant of Sir Henry who gave me permission to use it for for furthering historical research
It is currently in the possession of Mr. Peter Lamb of Killeagh, Co. Cork, long term friend of Sean O’Criadain..
